In this article, we’ll walk you through all the cosmetic items that will be available in the upcoming week’s store rotation in Apex Legends so that you don’t have to miss out on your favorite skins.

Since Apex Legends is a free-to-play FPS battle royale game set in the same universe as the Titanfall franchise of video games, Respawn Entertainment opted to use the “freemium” model to monetize this game. As such, players don’t have to purchase the game to enter the lobby.

Instead, players can purchase cosmetic items such as skins, Heirlooms, Trackers, Banners, Emotes, and more to customize their play session in Apex Legends. Furthermore, players can also buy loot boxes called Apex packs that provide them with three random items. Legend tokens and crafting materials are two other ways for players to obtain their preferred in-game cosmetics.

Apex Legends features special cosmetic items, recolored legend, and weapon skins every week or so. Players can also spend Apex Coins, Crafting Metals, and Legend Tokens to unlock specific skins in the game.

As a result, it is better to know what surprises lie ahead in the upcoming store rotation so you don’t miss out on your favorite cosmetic items. So, without further ado, let’s see what skins and bundles are coming to the upcoming store rotation in Apex Legends.

Do you want to know how you stack up against the rest of the players in Apex Legends Rank Distribution? If so, you’ve come to the correct place.

Apex Legends introduced the rank system in Season 2: Battlecharge on July 2, 2019. Respawn named it the Ranked Leagues. At that time, the rank mode was only available for the Battle Royale playlist.

Since the rank system’s introduction, Respawn has made several changes to it throughout Apex’s lifespan. Additionally, millions of new players who now play ranked mode regularly joined the game later. So, Respawn introduced additional ranks to maintain the game’s competitive integrity.

On top of that, Apex Legends also introduced Ranked Arenas on August 3, 2021. However, that was shut down due to its low popularity. So, in this article, we’ll solely focus on the BR rank distribution in Apex Legends Season 18.

Apex Legends Current Rank Distribution

Respawn only publishes rank data at the end of each season. So, there is no way of gathering Respawn’s data on Battle Royale Ranked leagues before a season is over. However, Apexlegendsstatus, a third-party website, shares Apex-related data based on .7 million ranked players’ API databases.

Although .7 million players do not represent the total Apex Legends population in Ranked leagues, it is a huge sample size. So the data from Apexlegendsstatus is the most reliable and accurate right now. Also, the website excludes players who are unranked at the time of generating data.

Moreover, keep in mind that not everyone plays Ranked every season. This Ranked distribution only accounts for the active Ranked players in an ongoing season. As a result, the Ranked population may always vary.

There you go! Now you know which portion of players in the Apex Legends rank distribution you belong to. Additionally, as was already mentioned, this data is not directly from Respawn. Therefore, it shouldn’t be regarded as 100% accurate. Nevertheless, this article will give you a decent understanding of the rank distribution in Apex Legends Season 18.

Apex Legends Season 18’s #1 Predator (now former) has been banned. Another player who was streaming on Twitch at the time managed to capture it live.

Apex Legends is a highly competitive battle royale game. Since Respawn introduced Ranked Mode, it has been the go-to place for players who want to taste the intense competition against similarly skilled opponents.

Amidst a diverse Rank Distribution, the highest achievable rank in Apex Legends is Predator. To obtain this difficult rank, players must demonstrate extreme dedication and skill at the highest level. Even then, hundreds of players fall short of reaching Predator rank by the end of a season, as only 750 players worldwide can make it to the top of the leaderboard on PC.

Unfortunately, not many players follow the difficult route to achieving this prestigious rank. The examples of cheaters on the Predators’ leaderboard are common knowledge to everyone. Yet no cheater has ever climbed to the top of the leaderboard before getting caught and banned during a live stream.

Who is This #1 (now ex) Pred?

The in-game name of the #1 Pred in question is Facilitatur. This IGN may ring a bell for many. It’s because many professional players and content creators have previously accused this player of cheating.

Not only that, he was also previously banned on multiple occasions on Xbox and PC for extended periods of time for teaming up and playing with cheaters. However, as his bans expired, Faclilitatur made a return to Apex Legends.

Since then, Facilitatur has been playing and grinding Apex without making much fuss in the community. Still, many pro players and content creators have been skeptical about his return and Respawn’s decision to let Facilitur into the game again.

In Season 18, Facilitatur made it to Apex Legends #1 Predator and held on to the rank. However, accusations started surfacing once again after HisWattson posted a suspicious clip of Facilitatur.

Many pro players who saw the clip shared a similar opinion to HisWattson. However, as there was no concrete proof, the accusations only remained accusations. Until now.

#1 Pred Facilitatur Got Banned Live

Just as the allegations against Facilitatur were appearing, he was banned live, proving that the accusations were not made up.

What you saw in the clip is the POV of a content creator named LegendJuice, who was playing Apex Legends Ranked when Facilitatur killed him. When his teammate was getting into a 1v1 situation against Facilitatur, he turned into a Death Box even without dying.

As we’ve known previously, it only happens when players quit or get banned. Moreover, Facilitatur’s #1 spot is also gone from the Apex Legends Ranked leaderboard, which further proves that he was in fact cheating and got banned.

Update #1: Respawn later released a statement via its official Twitter handle, confirming that the Apex anti-cheat team had issued a number of bans that day. Although Respawn didn’t particularly mention Facilitatur, it provided the community with the last missing piece to solving the puzzle.

Update #2: Facilitatur didn’t address the cheating incident. However, #1 Pred broke the radio silence and made an official post via Twitter on the same day, “Thank you apex, & all the dope people i’ve met. for everything đź–¤

After VALORANT and League of Legends, Disguised Toast enters Apex Legends Esports by signing a North American Apex Legends pro team to compete in this year’s ALGS Championship.

Jeremy Wang, AKA Disguised Toast, is a popular Twitch streamer and content creator. Being a huge Esports fan, Disguised Toast assembled a pro VALORANT roster and dived into the Esports scene by forming DSG.

Despite facing multiple hurdles, Disguised Toast didn’t completely turn his back on DSG. Instead, he pushed through and showed his commitment to the Esports scene by spreading his portfolio into two other highly competitive games.

Jeremy Wang’s signing of a League of Legends team in May 2023 was the catalyst for DSG’s expansion into Esports. And now, the content creator has again diversified its portfolio by signing an Apex pro team ahead of the ALGS 2023 Championship.

DSG Signs NA Team for ALGS 2023 Championship

DSG surprises its fans and the Apex Legends community by announcing a fresh lineup out of nowhere just two weeks before the start of the ALGS 2023 Championship.

The new DSG roster, consisting of Lou, Dooplex, and Senoxe, will participate in the ALGS 2023 Championship starting on September 6, 2023. The team was originally known as Dudes Night Out (DNO) and has not been signed by any organization as of now after Sentinels’ sudden exit.

Ira “Dooplex” Shepherd, Trenton “Lou” Clements, and Adam “Lau” Senoxe are highly experienced Apex Legends pro players. Despite not being signed by any organization after Sentinels left the Apex scene, the abandoned roster qualified for ALGS 2023 Champions with sheer will and effort.

However, the team has finally found its rightful home with DSG. While big organizations like Cloud9, G2, and Sentinels left Apex Legends competitive, it’s great to see organizations like DSG and Moist still care about the Esports scene and community. The ALGS 2023 Championship just became more exciting!

The upcoming Apex Legends store sale will feature new fan-favorite ninja and assassin-themed skins. The store sale is called Blood Moon and will go live in early September.

Apex Legends Season 18 went live just a few days ago. To keep the player base interested, Respawn has already released a full-blown Collection event and a store sale named Death Dynasty and Revenant Rebirth Store.

Despite having released so many new skins, Respawn intends to release more store events in the following days. After the Revenant Rebirth store closes, the Battle Academy store will take its place under the specials section, offering brand new Legend and weapon skins.

The Battle Academy will be available for two weeks before being replaced by another store event called Blood Moon on September 5, 2023. Fortunately, the Blood Moon skins have already been leaked by HYPERMYST, so you can have a quick glimpse at them.

Blood Moon Store

Blood Moon, like the Battle Academy store, will be a regular store sale rather than a Collection Event. But, just because the shop sale isn’t a Collection Event doesn’t mean the skins aren’t noteworthy.

Do you remember the Wraith Sanguine bundle? Even before it was launched, the ninja-themed Wraith skin from the bundle became immensely popular. The same Wraith skin that surprised the community served as inspiration for the Blood Moon skins.

Unfortunately, the Blood Moon store will only feature new Legendary skins for Horizon and Loba. The Wraith Sanguine bundle will also return to the same store, as some of you may still want that skin.

Aside from the Loba and Horizon skins, there will be 20X and 100X pack bundles. However, it is still unclear whether Horizon and Loba will be bundled with the same R99 skin as the Sanguine bundle. The following are the anticipated skins and packages from the Blood Moon store.

Here we will highlight the best Caustic skins that Respawn has released in Apex Legends so far until 2023.

Respawn Entertainment, the developers of the popular Titanfall franchise, entered the highly competitive battle royale genre with Apex Legends, which is set in the same universe as the Titanfall games.

Apex Legends was launched back in 2019, and following its release, it quickly cemented itself as the best BR shooter at that time, mainly due to its diverse roster of Legends, all featuring unique abilities.

Among all the first-released Legends, Caustic stood out from the crowd. While most Legends had abilities that were meant to push toward your enemies, Caustic’s whole kit was centered around his toxic Nox gas to bunker down an area.

Respawn opted to market Apex Legends as a free-to-play game with in-game microtransactions that are restricted to cosmetic items only. This meant there were no barriers to entry while playing this FPS game, but players could still purchase skins to customize their play sessions.

Aside from the four default Legendary character skins, Caustic has amassed quite a varied collection of skins from different limited-time events as well as recolors of those skins. Here we’ll try to bring more attention to some of the better-looking Caustic skins that Respawn has released so far.

The Caustic skins tier list was last updated after Death Dynasty Collection Event in Season 18.

How Many Caustic Skins are There in Apex Legends?

Right now, in season 18 of Apex Legends, Respawn has released 85 skins so far. Among them, there are 3 Mythic, 28 Legendary, 14 Epic, 26 Rare, and 16 Common Caustic skins.

Best Caustic Skins in Apex Legends (A Complete Tier List)

Here we’ll rank all the legendary Caustic skins that Respawn has released so far and put them into three distinct categories, such as S-Tier, A-Tier, and lastly, B-Tier. By our rating system, S-Tier skins are basically the cream of the crop when it comes to Caustic skins in the game. Meaning they are the rarest and most highly sought-after cosmetic items in the game.

And they are closely followed by A-Tier skins, which are also pretty good, but they all lack the X factor that a true S-tier skin possesses. Lastly, we have the B-Tier skins. In short, they are just average in terms of their looks and popularity within the Apex community.

In general, we considered rarity and cool-looking colorways while ranking these Caustic skins. And as with any other tier list, this one is extremely subjective. This list is mainly made to guide new and old players who are looking for some of the best-looking legendary skins for Caustic.

TierSkins
Mythic TierApex Contagion
Best(S-Tier)The Last laugh, Claustic, Killing Joke, Silverback, Prince of Darkness
Good(A-Tier)Necrosis, Deputy of Death, Bloodthirsty, The Trophy Hunter, Third Emperor, Blackheart, Gasbuster
Average(B-Tier)Sixth Sense, Divine Right, Philosopher’s Stone, Dark Cloud, Waste Management, Sweet Dreams, Mad King, Inmate Nox

Top 10 Best Caustic Skins in Apex Legends

As we mentioned before, Caustic received quite a lot of unique skins over the years. From scary-looking clowns to the holiday-inspired Santa Clause, Caustic has it all. Now, we’ll showcase ten of the best Caustic skins in descending order.

10. Third Emperor

Third Emperor
Image via Respawn

Third Emperor is one of the base legendary skins that every legend usually gets in the game. It was added a bit later than the other four basic legendary skin. And it features a dark purple theme. This skin will definitely remind players of Scorpio or Sub-zero from the Mortal Combat video games franchise.

9. The Trophy Hunter

The Trophy Hunter
Image via Respawn

The Trophy Hunter is a recolor of the original Blackheart Caustic skin. This one features a very contrasty-looking black and white colorway that made it really stand out from the other skins. Players who love minimalistic skins will most likely prefer this one over all the other flashy-looking skins for Caustic.

8. Bloodthirsty

Bloodthirsty
Image via Respawn

The Bloodthirsty Caustic skin is a recolor of the Sixth Sense skin. It features a unique red and light green recolor that made it stand out from other legendary skin recolors for Caustic. And as a result, it became really sought after by the Apex community.

7. Deputy of Death

Deputy of Death

The Deputy of Death was the first cowboy-inspired Cautic skin in the game and it was released alongside the Chaos Theory collection event. The gold and red colorway with that cowboy hat really made this skin stand out from the crowd.

6. Necrosis

Necrosis
Image via Respawn

The Necrosis Caustic skin was released alongside the System Override collection event in Apex Legends. Respawn clearly took inspiration from Darkseid who is one of the main antagonists in the DC comic book universe to make this skin. Also, the green color scheme looks really unique.

5. Prince of Darkness

Prince of Darkness
Image via Respawn

The Prince of Darkness was launched back in season 2 of Apex Legends as a battle pass exclusive skin. And soon after its release, it became quite a hit among the Apex player vase. The gold and red colorway with crazy-looking armor also proved to be a perfect combination for Caustic skin.

4. Silverback

Silverback
Image via Respawn

The Silverback gorilla-inspired skin was quite special to the competitive Apex Legends scene as the money from selling these skins would go on to fund the prize pool for the ALGS Championship tournament.

3. Killing Joke

Killing Joke

In the Aftermarket collection event, Respawn released this serial killer-inspired skin for Caustic called “Killing Joke”. It features Caustic in a trenchcoat of some sort while wearing a Joker-themed mask.

2. Claustic

Image via Respawn

The Santa Clause-inspired holiday-themed Caustic skin was first released back in 2019 with the Holo-Day Bash event. As the name implies, it featured red and white-colored skin modeled after the Santa Clause costume.

1. The Last Laugh

The Last Laugh

The Last Laugh Caustic skin was first released back in 2019 with the now fan-favorite Fight or Fright collection event. As it was a holiday-themed spooky event, the cosmetic team at Respawn went all out and gave Caustic a truly terrifying clown makeover. Later down the line, Respawn even released a dark recolor of this fan-favorite skin called “Sweet Dreams”.

Mythic Tier – Apex Contagion

Mythic Tier - Apex Contagion

Caustic got his Prestige skin as part of the Season 16 Veiled Collection Event. Respawn did an excellent job with Apex Contagion skin, that perfectly matches Caustic’s personality. The name of the skin itself gives a decent impression of how the skin looks.

Apex Contagion’s attention to detail, from Caustic’s mask to his special boot, demonstrates why this might be the best Mythic skin in the game. The Apex Legends community also shares a similar opinion.

Will Past Event-related Caustic Skins Ever Return?

Unfortunately, Caustic skins from previous battle passes will not be available in the marketplace again because they were an exclusive reward for that season. Other recolors and event skins, on the other hand, may return as a recolor through new events and special stores.

Upcoming Caustic Skins

There has been no new information on any new Caustic skins in the game as of this writing. As soon as more Caustic skins are announced, we’ll be sure to let you know. In the meantime, check out the Upcoming Leaked Skins article to find any forthcoming skins that’ll be available in the future.

Apex Legends Season 18’s upcoming store will be called Battle Academy. Unlike some previous sales, it will bring new and unique skins into the game.

As Apex Legends is a free-to-play live-service title, Respawn regularly releases new content to keep the player base engaged. These contents include balance changes, gameplay upgrades, new Legends, skins, and more.

Among all the things, cosmetics are likely the only items that let Respawn make money from the game. Players also love these cosmetic items for their unique visual appeal. Moreover, these cosmetic items let players feel some variety in the game.

Since Season 1, Respawn has released countless skins and cosmetic items in the game through Battle Pass, Collection Events, Store Events, and more. And Season 18 will also follow a similar pattern.

With the release of Resurrection, Respawn has already released the Death Dynasty Collection Event and a Revenant Rebirth Store in Apex. The next sale will be a store event named Battle Academy, which will be featured in the Specials section. Here’s everything you need to know about the Battle Academy store sale.

Battle Academy Store

As mentioned earlier, the Battle Academy will be a regular store sale in Apex Legends, suggesting it won’t be anything special like a Collection or Thematic Event. However, don’t be deceived, as this store sale will bring some unique skins into the game.

Based on the images shared by HYPERMYST, the Battle Academy store will mainly feature 3 Legendary character skins for Caustic, Fuse, and Wattson, bundled with Legend-specific ground Emotes and 3 Legendary weapon skins.

Besides these Legendary character and weapon skins, there’ll also be a pack bundle, which comes with a nice-looking weapon charm and 20 Apex packs. Here are the expected skins and bundles from the Battle Academy Store:

Revenant surpasses all other characters in Apex Legends history with the highest pick rate just one week after Season 18’s release.

Since Revenant’s introduction in Season 4 of Apex Legends, the character has gone through a ton of buffs and nerfs. Although it isn’t very uncommon for characters to go through these types of changes, Revenant’s tricky abilities made it almost impossible for developers to balance him without making him too powerful or weak.

As a result, to make Revenant more compatible with the current Apex Legends meta, Respawn thought it would be better to sunset Revenant’s previous abilities and rework them. And as they planned, Respawn gave the fearless assassin a complete transformation, and a new Revenant was reborn.

Alongside the other big changes, Revenant Reborn went live with the Season 18 update. Although many players, including ImperialHal, were skeptical about the Revenant’s popularity, the recent Legends pick-rate data might have a different story to tell.

Revenant becomes the most-Picked Legend in Season 18

According to Apexlegendsstatus, Revenant is currently the most-picked Legend with a 16.3% pick rate. He is followed by Octane and Pathfinder, who have almost half the pick rate compared to Revenant.

The simulacrum was struggling to reach even a 2% pick rate and was at the bottom of the meta characters’ list prior to Season 18. However, due to the rework, Revenant has currently found himself at the top of the Legends pick rate.

Revenant becomes the most-Picked Legend in Season 18

Revenant’s transformation from an Assault to a Skirmisher Legend might’ve been the primary reason why his popularity skyrocketed. Not to mention, his latest kits make him a fun movement character who can go toe-to-toe with the other Skirmisher Legends.

New characters typically have a relatively high pick rate at the beginning of a new season that gradually declines as the season goes on. So, Revenant’s actual popularity at the end of Season 18 will answer whether Respawn’s decision to rework him was worth it or not.

Is your game constantly crashing in Season 18? You are not the only one. Thankfully, there’s a workaround that will resolve the constant crashing issues.

As Apex Legends is a live-service title, Respawn adds new content to it with every single update. These updates come to the game through different phases. The biggest update to the game comes with the start of a new season, followed by mid-size updates with different Collection Events and regular events.

While the updates are great and all, they can also sometimes ruin a perfectly fine game and fill it with bugs and glitches. And as we all already know, Respawn is notorious for breaking Apex Legends with almost every single update. So, it isn’t a surprise for anyone at this moment.

Although some bugs and glitches don’t trouble anyone, sometimes they get so severe that the game becomes literally unplayable. Similarly, after the Season 17 Dressed to Kill Collection Event update went live, many people started reporting weird game crashes occurring in almost every single game.

For most people, the problem wasn’t as severe when the first Collection Event went live. However, after the Neon Network Collection Event update, more and more players began to experience the same issue on PC and Xbox. The even more annoying fact is that the game does not show any error codes that can help troubleshoot the game.

Thankfully, after researching quite a bit, we finally have some answers that may tell you why you are facing the constant crashing issue in Apex Legends Season 18 and how you can easily fix it.

Why is Apex Legends Crashing in Season 18?

Typically, when an Apex Legends update causes a bug or glitch, every player gets affected by it. Surprisingly, after the Season 17 Dressed to Kill Collection Event update, not everyone but only a specific group of people started suffering from the constant crashing issues, which still persist in Season 18.

As a limited number of people are facing the issue in different setups and platforms, the chance of it being a hardware-related issue was taken out of consideration. Moreover, everyone reported that other games ran completely fine for them on the same setup, which further confirmed that the problem was something else.

So, after much research and troubleshooting, the community has finally figured out that it is a network-related issue that is kicking out a certain network setup. Simply put, a specific group of internet users is facing constant crashes in startup and mid-game.

Many people on the EA Esports forum and the Apex Legends subreddit also supported the theory and confirmed it to be true. Thankfully, they also found a workaround that reduces or, if lucky, completely prevents Apex Legends from crashing in Season 18.

How to Fix Apex Legends Constantly Crashing in Season 18

Fortunately, using a VPN is helping players substantially reduce or completely eliminate the crashing issues in Season 18. As mentioned earlier, the game keeps crashing because of a problem with the network, so it makes sense that using a VPN is the only solution that players have found to work.

You can use any VPN that you have on your computer. Just make sure to select the best routing so you can get the best ping with little to no packet loss. However, if you don’t have a VPN or don’t want to spend money on buying one, you can use WARP by Cloudflare.

Here’s a step-by-step guide on how to download, install, and use WARP for free:

1. Go to WARP’s official download website.

WARP's official download website.

2. Click on Windows to download WARP for Windows 10 or 11.

3. Download the.msi file and open it

4. Follow the instructions of the WARP Setup Wizard, install WARP, and press Finish

5. After the installation is finished, click on “Show hidden icons” from the bottom-right side of your taskbar. You’ll find the WARP VPN with the cloud logo. Now click on Cloudflare WARP

6. After the WARP VPN opens, click on the gear icon in the bottom left corner of the app and select 1.1.1.1 with WARP.

Note: Make sure to use “1.1.1.1 with WARP” and not “1.1.1.1”, as it might not fix Apex Legends’ crashing issue.

7. Now, press the white circle and turn the WARP VPN on

7. Your VPN setup is done. Now launch Apex Legends normally

After you turn WARP VPN on and start playing Apex Legends, the game should run without crashing. This method actually works, as we’ve tested it ourselves on different connections and PCs. Surprisingly, our game never crashed even after hours of playing the new ranked session and other LTMs while the VPN was turned on.

Keep in mind that using a VPN has its limitations. Despite encountering no crashes, we were facing minor ping spikes and packet loss issues on a few servers. However, the rare ping spike and minor packet loss have been negligible, and it was a far better option than having to deal with constant crashes in mid-game while running against the new ring damage and third parties.

Nevertheless, it is only a workaround and not an actual fix. Hopefully, Respawn will come up with a permanent solution to this problem so everyone can enjoy the game without using a VPN or facing constant crashes. Have fun!

Heirlooms are the highest tier of cosmetic items that players can purchase in Apex Legends. Here’s our tier list for this highly sought-after item.

Since Apex Legends is a free-to-play FPS battle royale game set in the same universe as the Titanfall franchise of video games, Respawn Entertainment opted to use the “freemium” model to monetize this game. As such, players don’t have to purchase the game to enter the lobby.

Instead, players can purchase cosmetic items such as skins, battle passes, trackers, banners, emotes, and more to customize their play session in Apex Legends. Furthermore, players can also buy loot boxes called Apex packs that provide them with 3 random items. Among these cosmetic items, heirlooms have the lowest drop rate.

Heirlooms have the lowest drop rate of any cosmetic item in the game, so they are really sought after by the player base. These cosmetic items are basically custom-made melee skins for each individual Legend in the game.

While Heirlooms were really basic when Respawn first introduced them back in 2019, the newer ones have seen a massive upgrade in terms of their looks, animations, sound effects, and other aspects. Suffice it to say, with each new heirloom release Respawn is definitely upping its game.

How many Heirlooms are there in 2023?

Right now, in season 18, there are 19 Heirlooms in Apex Legends. Horizon was the last Legend to receive an Heirloom in the Dressed to Kill Collection Event. However, Revenant also got a new Heirloom at the beginning of Season 18. However, it is just a recolor version of his older Dead Man’s Curve.

Best Heirlooms in Apex Legends (A Complete Tier List)

Now we’ll rank each Heirloom that Respawn has released in Apex Legends so far, putting them into three categories: S-Tier, A-Tier, and B-Tier.

All the Heirlooms that Respawn has made so far are really unique in their own way. Each of them somehow paid homage to each character’s backstory and aspirations. However, not all of them are created equal as the older ones were really basic compared to the new ones, which are much more complex with amusing inspect animations and other sound effects.

The S-Tier Heirlooms represent the best of the best Heirlooms for their popularity and uniqueness. The A-Tier Heirlooms are rare and eye-catching but fall slightly short of their S-Tier counterparts. Lastly, the B-Tier Heirlooms look and feel okay compared to A and S-Tier ones. Players would love to have these skins, but they don’t mind not having one of them.

As with any other tier list, this one will be highly subjective. This list will be ideal for newcomers and returning veterans looking to open their first Heirloom.

TierHeirlooms
Best (S-Tier)Hope’s Dawn, Hope’s Dusk, Dead Man’s Curve, Biwon Blade, War Club, Raven’s Bite
Good (A-Tier)Garra de Alanza, Death Hammer, Suzaku, Showstoppers, Cold Steel, Butterfly Knife, Shock Sticks
Average (B-Tier)Problem Solver, Boxing Gloves, Strongest Link, Too Much Witt, Energy Reader

18. Wattson’s Energy Reader

Wattson was released in Season 2. However, she received her Heirloom in the Raiders Collection Event in Season 11. Wattson has a pretty huge fan base, as she is one of the most likable Legends in the game. However, her Heirloom was very underwhelming compared to the community’s expectations. Respawn decided to give Wattson an Heirloom that looks like a barcode reader, and many players aren’t really fond of it.

17. Mirage’s Too Much Witt

The Outland’s most famous trickster received his Heirloom with the Lost Treasures collection event. Surprising absolutely no one, it turned out to be a statue of himself. Yes, Mirage’s Heirloom is a mini statue version of himself. Also, his Heirloom has some unique inspect and melee animations that perfectly align with his carefree attitude.

16. Ash’s Strongest Link

Ash's Strongest Link

For Ash’s Heirloom, Respawn gave her a traditional Chinese martial arts weapon, commonly known as “Nunchucks” or “Nunchaku.” The Apex community, especially the Ash mains, hoped Respawn would release something similar to “Sai,” matching Ash’s personality. However, when Respawn revealed the Strongest Link, players weren’t really happy with it. So, despite having lots of animations and functionality, it remains one of the worst Heirloom releases in Apex Legends.

15. Pathfinder’s Boxing Gloves

Pathfinder received his own custom-made Heirloom in the shape of boxing gloves with the Holo-Day Bash collection event. It matches his cheerful personality as these globes have animated emojis that reflect his current mode. The Heirloom looks great and matches his personality. However, it is distracting to many players due to being huge.

14. Rampart’s Problem Solver

Since Rampart is a weapons modder, it makes so much sense that Respawn opted to use a real wrench as her Heirloom.

On top of that, this Heirloom which is aptly named Problem Solver has a built-in bubble gum dispenser as Rampart is often seen chewing gums. Unsurprisingly, it even matches her lore to the teeth.

13. Lifeline’s Shock Sticks

Lifeline received her own Heirloom with the Fight or Fright collection event. And based on her backstory, Respawn decided to give her electrifying shock sticks as she is apparently an avid drummer.

12. Octane’s Butterfly Knife

Apex Legends’ beloved speedster received his Butterfly knife in the System Override collection event. Unsurprisingly, this Butter Fly knife also works like a needle to inject stim into his body. Also, it has a cool-looking inspection animation that shows off Octane’s skills with the knife.

11. Bangalore’s Cold Steel

Bangalore received a pilot’s data knife as her Heirloom with the Chaos Theory collection event. Unsurprisingly, it fits her military background really well. However, it was shrouded in conspiracy as Respawn allegedly changed the Heirloom from a Tonfa to a generic-looking dagger at the very last minute.

10. Seer’s Showstoppers

9. Seer's Showstoppers

Respawn went with a different approach with Seer’s Showstoppers Heirloom set. However, it is by no means less gorgeous than most of the beautiful Heirlooms in the game. The Showstoppers Heirloom was released in the Spellbound Collection Event in Season 15.

9. Horizon’s Gravity Maw

Horizon received her Heirloom after waiting 958 days since her launch, making it the game’s most-awaited Heirloom. However, this isn’t the only thing that makes the Heirloom interesting. Respawn made the Heirloom look like a Mace, which is a popular instrument in Scotland. The small black hole on top of the Heirloom makes the Gravity Maw look more intriguing. Overall, Horizon mains are happy with the Heirloom.

8. Valkyrie’s Suzaku Spear

Valkyrie’s Suzaku is currently the longest Heirloom in Apex. The Heirloom has movable parts at the back of the spear, and in the front, there is a jet control button and mini thrusters that will create some cool animations.

There are also two foldable blades at the front, and when these open up, the spear looks like a trident. At the very tip of the spear, there is a Valkyrie-themed spearhead with thorough details. As the Heirloom is inspired by a spear, it is a very long melee weapon, even longer than the Revenant’s Heirloom.

7. Caustic’s Death Hammer

Caustic received his Death Hammer with the Aftermarket collection event. Based on his personality, Respawn decided to give him a hammer with his face on one side. The inspect animation also gave clues regarding his backstory and lore.

6. Loba’s Garra de Alanza

6. Loba's Garra de Alanza

Loba’s Garra de Alanza is a Japanese hand fan modified and designed to use in warfare. Previously, it was all just rumors and speculations with no real evidence that a War Fan would actually be Loba’s Heirloom.

According to the comics shared by Respawn, Loba modified her mother’s hand fan and made which turned into a complete beast of a weapon called “Garra de Alanza.” It also translates to Lance Claw in English.

5. BloodHound’s Raven’s Bite

BloodHound was the second legend after Wraith to receive an heirloom of their own in the now infamous Iron Crown collection event. This Heirloom is basically an ax with red highlights. Unsurprisingly, it really goes well with BloodHound’s upbringing.

4. Gibraltar’s War Club

Gibraltar received a “patu” as his Heirloom based on his Maori descent in the Fight Night Collection event. Respawn really went all out with this one as it literally glows in the dark and has unique inspect animation that gave homage to the Maori culture.

3. Crypto’s Biwon Blade

Crypto received his Heirloom in the Season 12 Warriors Collection Event. Though the Apex Legends take place in a different universe, Crypto has similarities with the people in Asian culture. His voice actor is also Korean. So Respawn thought, a futuristic katana would go perfectly with the personality of Crypto.

2. Revenant’s Dead Man’s Curve/ Death Grip

Revenant received his Heirloom in the Genesis collection event. Unsurprisingly, Respawn decided that a deadly-looking scythe would be a perfect fit for Revenant. The animation department at Respawn literally went all out with this one, as it has one of the most visually appealing inspect animations of any Heirloom.

Moreover, in Season 18, Respawn also released Revenant’s Heirloom Recolor named “Death Grip” via Death Dynasty Collection Event. To be honest, the Death Grip and Dead Man’s Curve look very similar, unlike Wraith’s Heirloom alternatives. However, if you don’t have the Dead Man’s Curve, you may consider purchasing the Death Grip Heirloom. Nonetheless, it depends on your personal preference.

1. Hope’s Dusk/ Hope’s Dawn

Wraith is the first legend to receive an heirloom with the official launch of the game back in 2019. The biggest issue with Wraith’s Heirloom was that there were no unique or rare animations with it. However, with the release of Season 16, Respawn updated Wraith’s Heirloom with a bunch of unique and rare animations.

Moreover, Respawn released Wraith’s new Heirloom recolor, Hope’s Dawn, in the Imperial Guard Collection Event, which is an orange counterpart of the original Heirloom. Respawn also renamed the original Wraith’s Heirloom to Hope’s Dusk, which is a blue variant of Wraith’s Kunai.

So now, players can choose between the blue and orange variants of kunai in the Mythic shop. Moreover, they won’t have to worry about getting only one animation with the Heirloom. So, after the much-needed update in Season 16, Wraith’s Heirloom became our first pick as the best Heirloom in the game.

How to get Heirlooms?

If you are already sold on the idea of heirlooms and want to know how to obtain them, then let us guide you. The most basic way to get an heirloom is to buy 500 Apex packs, and you are guaranteed to receive heirloom shards which can be used to purchase any heirlooms in the market.

Best way

The best way to get heirlooms is to buy event-specific Apex packs that arrive with each collection event. After purchasing all the event-exclusive Apex packs, you are guaranteed to receive that particular Heirloom. Or you can buy one event pack and pray to the RNG gods.

If you want to get an Heirloom for free, check this link.

Apex Legends Heirloom Drop Rate

As we mentioned earlier, heirlooms have the lowest drop rate of any cosmetic items in the game. The current drop rate for an heirloom is only 0.7%. However, Respawn has added bad luck protection to guarantee an heirloom drop at your 500th Apex pack opening.

Since the chances of getting Heirlooms shards are really low at under 1%, it is understandable why everyone wants an heirloom. Many players are now asking Respawn to add some sort of heirloom calculator or tracker in the game client so that curious players can see how many packs they have opened so far and how far away they are from opening their very first Heirloom.

Apex Legends Upcoming Heirloom

According to recent leaks shared by KralRindo, Fuse will be the next Legend to receive an Heirloom in Season 18.
