Riot has tried to push as many giveaways and rewards to players as possible for a while now. League of Legends has seen most of the push with more game events. Their Prime Gaming capsule is amongst the more popular giveaways for Amazon Prime.

Wild Rift has been quite popular as well in the mobile gaming scene. As released a while back, it has seen many improvements and champions coming into the game. Patch 4.1 was the last one to release, which introduced many skins, items, champions, etc. This is all to give Wild Rift players something new in the patch cycles every time Riot rolls in major updates.

With all the content coming in Patch 4.1, Riot has expanded their partnership with Amazon. The Prime Gaming Loot is now being added to Wild Rift as there is a nice benefit coming for players of the game. Here is what we know so far.

What is Prime Gaming

Prime Gaming is a monthly subscription that allows subscribers to get exclusive in-game Loot, free games, free access to Twitch, and all the benefits of Amazon Prime in one deal. It allows players to get exclusive stuff from one subscription, and it is worth it.

Prime Gaming is giving away exclusive Loot to multiple Riot games now as they have struck a new deal with Amazon. Wild Rift is also part of the roster to earn in-game Loot through the subscription.

Wild Rift Prime Gaming Loot (August 2023)

A Wild Rift Prime Gaming Random Recall Chest has been added to the rewards collection for players to redeem off of the subscription. This is a small reward compared to the League of Legends PC version, as this will hopefully be expanded at some point in time.

The Random Recall Chest will consist of a random recall from the list available in Wild Rift. The Random Recall Chest will be available until August 25, 2023.

How To Link Amazon Prime & Riot Games Account

The first step to getting the Loot is to link the Riot Games Account with the Amazon Prime Account. Here is how you can link both of these accounts.

1. Go To The Prime Gaming Website.
2. Login or create a Prime Gaming account with the subscription active.
3. Find the game you’d like to redeem Loot for using the Search Prime Gaming text field or simply scrolling through the available options.
4. Select and Click League of Legends: Wild Rift.
5. Follow any prompts that come up, and then select your preferred Riot account.
6. Select the Prime Gaming Loot.
7. Done.

The rewards are based on having an Amazon Prime subscription, but you can also claim the 7-day free trial to claim the rewards. You can only do this once.

How To Claim The Rewards

To claim the rewards, just drop onto the Prime Gaming website and select League of Legends: Wild Rift. After that, log in to your prime gaming account and redeem your Prime Gaming loot. The rewards can only be claimed once per account and cannot be transferred.

When Will Prime Gaming Loot Drop Next?

If the previous system of Prime Gaming Loot for Riot games stays true, we should expect to see a new one from August 26, 2023. Once the rewards and such have been revealed, we will update the article and keep everyone informed about it.

While champions are a core part of League of Legends and Wild Rift, players can customize their champions in several other ways. Players can amplify their champions to a new height or change their playstyle completely through these methods.

One way players can amplify their champions is through in-game items. With items, players can gain additional buffs, passive and active abilities. But to get these benefits, players must purchase them with gold in the match. However, there is another method that players can gain even more buffs, and that is through the rune system.

Through Runes, players can enhance their abilities in the game. While the rune system was initially added in PC League of Legends, Riot added a simpler version in its mobile port.

In Wild Rift, we have a very simpler version of this system. Unlike picking a path first in the PC version, in Wild Rift, we first have to select a keystone. After that, we can pick up to three secondary runes from each slot. And till now, that’s how the mobile rune system worked.

But recently, Riot has released the preview for patch 4.3. And in that, they have showcased that the current rune system will be revamped.

Wild Rift Patch 4.3: Updated Rune System

The newer rune system will be similar to what we see on PC. But the difference is the keystones won’t be tied to rune paths. However, the rest is similar to the PC counterpart. Firstly, you pick your first path. There are four paths available: Precision, Domination, Sorcery, and Inspiration. Once picked, players can pick up to three secondary runes from that path. After that, players can pick one more additional path. In that additional path, players can pick only one secondary rune.

Because of this new system change, Riot has added two new keystones to the game. They are First Strike and Glacial Augment. Moreover, they have also added many other secondary runes as well. So after the patch drops, it might be the best time to experiment with your rune builds.

We have seen many major Wild Rift updates this year. And patch 4.3 is definitely the most influential one.

Regarding champions, we are getting Nilah, Vladimir, and Hecarim. Additionally, Vladimir also received a huge graphical upgrade in Wild Rift. Even though the new Vladimir isn’t recognizable, it is a huge step up graphically. So if he ever receives an ASU or Art and Sustainability Update on PC, we can expect the base model to look similar.

Also, Riot has announced upcoming champion reworks in the patch preview for the first time in a while. Two of the champions receiving a gameplay rework are Janna and Annie.

Besides that, Riot is slightly overhauling the rune system in this update. So we will see a couple of new keystones, including First Strike and Glacial Augment. Additionally, we are also going to receive many new secondary runes as well.

Ranked is the prominent game mode in both League of Legends and Wild Rift. In it, players from similar skill groups can compete against each other to earn a higher rank.

As this is the game’s main mode, Riot has to incentivize the players to play it. Because of it, Riot gives out various rewards to players when they hit a certain rank. These rewards include emotes, Blue Motes, Poro Coins, Ranked Coins, baubles, champion skins, and augments. And among them, the champion skin is the most sought-after reward.

Since the introduction of ranked in Wild Rift, Riot has released a glorious skin in every single season. The first glorious skin we received in Wild Rift was Glorious Tryndamere.

After that, we have seen several skins in the glorious skin. And in season 5, Riot released the upgraded version of Glorious skins called Glorious Crimson. In this version, the players can equip the champions with a specific type of cosmetics called weapon augments. In season 9, Riot recently retired the Glorious Crimson skin line in favor of a new one. From that, we have seen the Glorious Armada Twisted Fate skin.

And now, since ranked season 10 is on the horizon, Riot has revealed the ranked reward. And for this season, we will get Glorious Basilisk Jarvan IV.

This Jarvan IV skin will be his second Wild Rift exclusive after Crystal Rose Jarvan IV. As for the Glorious skin, the theme is similar to the Glorious Armada Twisted Fate skin. This skin will also have different animations, recall, VFX, SFX, and weapon augments. So as a free skin, it might be the best one for Jarvan IV.

Patch 4.2 was the unique update this year. It introduced several new quality-of-life features, as well as exclusive mechanics yet to release on the PC version.

Riot released three new champions in patch 4.3. They are Swain, Ornn, and Volibear. Moreover, they also massively reworked Olaf in this update. Riot also removed the active sprint mechanic from boots and made them base movement speed buff, similar to their PC counterpart. Additionally, Riot added two new items for the marksmen class, Immortal Shieldbow, and The Collector.

In this patch, Riot also added the first Wild Rift exclusive dragon, Ice Drake. It is slightly similar to the Hextech and Wind Drake found in the PC version. Furthermore, they changed recall, bounties, Baron Nashor, and elemental dragons to ensure the game ends faster and remains fast-paced.

Even though players are still getting used to all the new changes, and the next patch is more than a month away, massive leaks have already revealed all the champions coming to Wild Rift.

Nilah

Nilah is one of the newest champions released in the PC League of Legends. She is a low-ranged marksman similar to Samira. To be fair, she is another variant of Samira with slight differences.

Firstly, she synergizes well with enchanter support, whereas Samira excels with engage support. Nilah also levels up quicker, thanks to her passive. Overall, her playstyle is precisely the same as Samira’s. So if you are a Samira main, and Samira is banned, then Nilah is your best option.

Hecarim

Hecarim will be the second champion released in this patch. In the PC community, Hecarim is known as the perfect jungler. He has the kit that makes him a menace in all situations.

Hecarim has consistent damage output, CC, displacement, fast jungle clear, easy snowball, etc. Additionally, he is so strong that, Hecarim holds one of the highest ban rates in the PC version.

Vladimir

Vladimir is one of the oldest champions released in PC League of Legends. He is the only vampire-type champion in the game. That is why he has a unique resource type called Bloodthirst. In-game, he is primarily a mid-laner in the battle mage class. Even so, his playstyle is more similar to a burst mage.

Thanks to his kit, Vladimir can drain his opponent’s health, be untargetable, and can easily burst down anyone thanks to his combo. On the right hand, Vladimir might be one of the strongest champions in the game. But if he falls behind in the early game, it is hard for him to keep up in the later stages of the match.

Recently Riot released the preview for patch 4.3. For this patch, they have announced many new and interesting contents.

Firstly in terms of champions, we are receiving 3 of them. They are Nilah, Vladimir, and Hecarim. Vladimir also received a huge visual makeover. While graphically, it is better than the PC counterpart; many players are still unsatisfied with this update. But given more time, we can expect that players will get used to it and might even prefer it over PC Vladimir.

Additionally, for this new patch, Riot has announced that Janna and Annie will receive some massive rework in Wild Rift. For what kind of rework, it is still unclear. But we can expect some more information about this soon.

Moreover, Riot is also revamping the rune system in this update. This update to the rune system will be more streamlined, similar to what we see in the PC version.

Additionally, in every patch preview, Riot teases some of the upcoming champions that are coming in one of the future patches. In the preview, they teased Nilah. Wild Rift Patch 4.4 Champions Teased

Riot has teased two champions coming in patch 4.4. They are:

• Fiddlesticks
• Nocturne

Fiddlesticks is an AP assassin who relies on killing unsuspecting opponents. He is a jungle champion, and his clear is very fast. Furthermore, his kit is filled with CC, making every fight easier for Fiddlesticks. On the right hand, he is one of the most broken champions. Additionally, since he is an AP champion, he can scale in all stages of the game. So in ranked, Fiddlesticks becomes one of the must-ban champions.

Similar to Fiddlesticks, Nocturne is also an assassin. But instead of AP, Nocturne is an AD champion. He is fairly simple to play with. However, he cannot scale well late game since he is an AD assassin. But to terrorize in lower ELO, Nocturne is one of the best picks.

Release Date

Both Nocturne and Fiddlesticks are expected to come out on patch 4.4, scheduled to release on Oct 24, 2023.

Every summer, Riot releases massive events across all of its games. And this year won’t be an exception.

Last year, we received the Star Guardian event around the same time. It took place across League of Legends PC, Wild Rift, Legends of Runeterra, and Teamfight Tactics. While the theme was similar, each game offered something entirely unique in this event. Likewise, we received the Ruination event the year prior. Not only did it take place in all the games mentioned earlier, but it was also released in Valorant.

Usually, we see many additions during these events in Wild Rift. These additions include skins, in-game events with missions, game modes, extra side modes, etc. Moreover, Riot also adds massive quality-of-life changes in those patches.

Not too long ago, it was revealed that the summer event for this year will be called Soul Fighter. And similar to previous years, it will occur across almost all Riot Games except Valorant.

Riot recently released a trailer, teasing much of the upcoming content coming in Wild Rift during this event. Some of the notable contents are a new game mode, a new “meta-game,” new missions, and for the current topic, new skins.

While we have seen a couple of major updates in Wild Rift this year, Patch 4.2 will be the most significant update by far.

In terms of champions, we would be getting three of them. They are Ornn, Voibear, and Swain. Additionally, Riot is also reworking ADC in this patch as well. We are also getting massive system changes like Baron, Herald, and Dragon spawning earlier than before. Furthermore, there would also be bounty and home guard changes in this patch as well. The main reason for these adjustments is that matches can finish quicker.

Regarding cosmetics, Riot announced this patch’s Wild Pass skin, Soda Pop Ahri. It would also have a level 50 ascended variant similar to all the Wild Pass skins before.

Furthermore, in patch 4.2, Riot Games added the Hextech Crafting system. Alongside it, we will also see the addition of the Orange Essence store. It would work similarly to the Mythic Essence store that we have in the PC League of Legends. One of the skins that would be exclusive in this store is Iconic Garen. Also, players can earn Wild Pass skins from previous seasons by using the new skin shards and spending Silver Stardust.

Besides Wild Pass, the developers also release skins on the store that players can buy using Wild Cores. And recently, in the patch notes for 4.2, Riot has revealed all the skins coming in the in-game store.

Hextech Crafting has been one of the most important parts of League of Legends. On the PC version, it is a feature where you can earn skins, champions, and other goodies. Players can mainly earn these skins for free or spend money by buying Hextech or Masterwork chests and getting shards and skins from there. They can also spend orange essence to turn the skin shards into permanent skins.

But in Wild Rift, the only proper way to earn skins is through the in-game shop. Furthermore, another way that players could earn skins for free was through the Poro shop. However, the Poro shop was too tedious and took a lot of grinding to earn one free skin.

While Riot did add Hextech Chests in late 2022, the mechanic wasn’t as deep as the PC version. The main reason for that was the lack of a Hextech Crafting system.

However, Riot will be adding the Hextech Crafting system in patch 4.2. While the system might be similar to the PC version, there are differences. So here’s everything you have to know about the upcoming Hextech Crafting mechanic in Wild Rift.

Wild Rift: Hextech Crafting

Hextech Crafting is a mechanic where players can earn unique skins and chromas. From there, you can earn random skins from the store, even Wild Pass skins that you didn’t get the chance to earn.

How To Get

You can get these exclusive skins through chests. To open the chests, you need 10 keys, which will cost you up to 150 Wild Cores. In those chests, you will get one skin shard or skin and Silver Stardust or Orange Gemstones.

For odds, there is a 5% chance of getting a skin and a 95% chance of getting a shard.

New Currencies

Silver Stardust

With the introduction of Hextech Crafting, we are also seeing the debut of skin shards. You can turn the skin shards from shards to permanent skins. But to turn them into skins, you have to spend Silver Stardust. Silver Stardust is replacing Orange Essence in Wild Rift.

To get Silver Stardust, you have to open chests. Chests have a chance of containing Silver Stardust. Or you can also convert your Orange Gemstones into Silver Stardust.

Orange Gemstones

Speaking of Orange Gemstones, it is also a new currency in the newest update. Orange Gemstones replaces the Mythic Essence in League PC. You can earn the Orange Gemstones in chests.

Moreover, a new shop will be coming to the game called Orange Gemstones Store. You can purchase skins, pose, border, chroma, and Silver Stardust from there. In the first iteration of the store, you can purchase the exclusive Iconic Garen skin.

Milestones

Riot will be implementing a new Milestone mechanic in the chests. Now, you will get a reward each time you open a certain amount of chests. Here is the current milestone for each amount of chest opened.
