How To Link Amazon Prime & Riot Games Account

Before earning the rewards mentioned earlier, you must link your Amazon account with your Riot Games Account. Here is a step to step guide on how to do it.

1. Go to the Prime Gaming website.
2. Create or log in with an Amazon account with an active Prime Subscription. (If you don’t have an active Prime subscription, there is a free 7-days trial option).
3. Slightly scrolling down, you will find the “Search Prime Gaming” option, and you can search for your preferred game. In this case, search Legends of Runterra.
4. Select and click Legends of Runeterra.
5. Scroll slightly below, and you can see an option to link your Riot Games Account. You can click “Link Account” to initiate this process.
6. Afterward, now you can log in to your preferred Riot Account.
7. Once finished linking, you can select “Rare Prismatic Chest + 3 Rare Wildcards“.
8. Click “Get in-game content”.
9. Enjoy.

These rewards are based on whether you have a Prime Subscription or not. There is a 7-days trial version. However, that trial can be claimed only once per account.

How To Claim Legends of Runeterra Prime Rewards

Go to the Legends of Runeterra section of Prime Gaming to claim the rewards. Afterward, you can log in to your Amazon account linked to your preferred Riot Account. Then click “Get in-game content” to get your Rare Prismatic Chest and Rare Wild Cards. These rewards can only be claimed once per account and cannot be transferred.

Every summer, Riot releases new and exciting events to their game. And this summer is no exception. Additionally, these events take place in all of their games.

Last year, we got the Star Guardian 2022 event around the same time. It took place across League of Legends PC, Wild Rift, Legends of Runeterra, and Teamfight Tactics. While the theme was similar across all the games, each offered something unique. Likewise, we got the Ruination or the Sentinels of Light Event the summer before. Not only did it take place in all the games mentioned earlier, but it was also released in VALORANT.

Usually, during these events, in Legends of Runeterra, we get skins and an event pass based on the event. And for this year’s event, Riot has revealed that it will be called Soul Fighter. Like the previous year, this event will occur across all Riot Games’ games except Valorant.

In LoR specifically, Riot has showcased a new event pass corresponding with the new expansion, Heart of the Huntress. Moreover, we are also getting many new skins, including a skin for LoR’s new champion Nidalee. Here are all the skins part of this skin line.

In early April, we got ourselves the first Legends of Runeterra expansion of the year, Glory in Navori. Being the first expansion of the year, it also brought tons of wanted features to the game.

Firstly, this expansion added three new champions. They are Samira, Sett, and the second LoR-exclusive champion, Jack. Additionally, they also released the Dragonmancer skin line in this update. In terms of wanted features, Riot finally released rotation in LoR. It is a queue where mostly the newer cards can be played competitively.

Earlier this year, in the 2023 roadmap, they confirmed that after each significant expansion, there would be a patch called variety card set that aims to introduce new cards to spice up the meta. These cards aren’t dependent on a theme as expansion cards. So in patch 4.5.0, we received many new cards from various regions in Runeterra.

Since the next expansion is right around the corner, it is just when Riot starts teasing about it. They revealed that the next expansion would be named Heart of the Huntress. Moreover, Riot teased one of the upcoming champions in the most interesting way possible. They hired an artist to make a bust sculpture about it.

LoR Heart of the Huntress: Upcoming Champion

As stated earlier, Riot hired an artist to make a sculpture based on the upcoming Legends of Runeterra champion. As the sculpture is still in its early process, it looks unrecognizable. But it is still one of the coolest ways Riot has teased an upcoming character in one of their IPs.

Besides that, Riot has officially teased two images. In the first image, we can see a new character. While it is unlikely that the focused character is a champion, there is someone around the corner that League of Legends fans would recognize. That character on the right is Neeko.

Not only that, in the bottom left side of the image, we can see Milio’s fuemigos. Milio is the last champion released in League of Legends. And he has pets known as fuemigos.

So from that image, we can expect that Neeko and Milio might be two of the upcoming champions.

The second image is more vague than the first one. But from what we can gather, this image might be teasing Nidalee. Some people are going as far as saying that this image is teasing the upcoming League of Legends champion Naafiri. It would be fantastic if Naafiri debuted in both Legends of Runeterra and League of Legends, but it is very unlikely.

Release Date

The Heart of the Huntress expansion will be released on 28 June 2023. So we can expect all new champions to release then.

Legends of Runeterra is a live service game. Additionally, it is also free to play. Because of it, Riot Games have to monetize the game differently. One of the main ways Riot monetizes the game is through cosmetics.

In LoR, there are many types of cosmetics items in the game. Like champion skins, emotes, boards, card backs, icons, etc. While most of these personalization options are paid, Riot sometimes offers them free during different events. One such event is the pride month.

Pride month is the period dedicated to celebrating LGBTQ+ people around the world. As it is a time of celebration, many games give out unique and free rewards during this period, and Legends of Runeterra is one of these games.

Riot gives out a free pride-themed bundle in the in-game store during the pride events. This bundle includes free icons and emotes.

Recently, Riot Games revealed patch 4.5.0. It will be a variety card set patch, including many new meta-shifting cards. Moreover, they have also adjusted many existing cards to make the game more balanced. Additionally, we are also getting some major competitive changes as well in this patch.

As for cosmetics, Riot will upgrade Worldbreaker Elise to an epic skin by including unique level-up animations. As for free rewards, We are getting a free CONVERGENCE: A League of Legends Story skin. And for today’s topic, they are adding a free pride-themed bundle, including returning emotes, icons, and a brand new Nami emote.

These cards will be available from May 24 to June 28. You can earn this skin from the store in the bundle section. As these cosmetics will be out for a limited time, you should get these rewards as soon as possible.

Earlier this year, Riot revealed the 2023 roadmap for Legends of Runeterra. In that post, they revealed a new type of release cycle that they would follow.

Firstly they would release an expansion. That expansion would include many game-changing mechanics, card additions, PVE changes, etc. Afterward, the expansion would be followed with various balance patches. This is so that both the competitive and the casual scene would remain stable. A couple of balance patches later, Riot would release a variety card set update. This update would include new cards and some balance updates for existing cards. And finally, after that, Riot would release the next expansion, and the cycle would continue.

During March, Riot released the first expansion of 2023, Glory in Navori. This expansion included many new contents. Most importantly, it included the release of three new champions, Samira, Sett, and Jack. Additionally, they also released the Dragonmancer skin line for LoR. It also added the long-awaited Rotation mode to the game.

As it’s been a couple of months since the release of this expansion, the developers will be releasing a new variety card set update to the game. Not to worry, as Riot has revealed all the upcoming cards in Mobalytics. Let’s look at all of these cards.

Legends of Runeterra is a card game based on the League of Legends universe. Because of it, Riot can make diverse sets of cards as the League of Legends universe, also known as Runeterra, is vast.

Thanks to it, the developers could create unique cards and a new cast of characters. Additionally, most of the characters who appear in LoR do not appear in League of Legends.

Because of the vast uniqueness of the Runeterra universe, the fans give their own take on various cards. Mostly, community members would look at League of Legends champions who aren’t in LoR yet and try to make a custom card in a way that would work in LoR.

As the community is LoR’s greatest strength, Riot wants the community to feel involved. Because of it, you can now somewhat make your own card through the new Community Card Kitchen.

What is the Community Card Kitchen, you might ask? The community can create one card arriving in the upcoming set by voting. Moreover, the community can inspire everything about the card, from the region to what text will be written on the card. But one important thing to mention is that only one custom card will be imported from this entire event. But we can expect Riot to do more similar events very soon.

How To Make Cards

You can start voting by clicking here. The voting will take place in several phases. The current phase is regions. So now you can vote on which region you want to see the card from. Afterward, you can vote for the card type, art, etc. Additionally, right at the end, you can write the card’s description. This event will run for around a month, but each phase will run for one week.

Overall now, the community can fully impact how a card turns out. And hopefully, the card will turn out amazing.

Last year, we saw many exciting expansions come to Legends of Runeterra. These expansions brought not only new mechanics but also new personalization to the game.

There are many ways players can personalize their game; one of the main ways is through skins. Riot has released many skins to LoR. Since Legends of Runeterra is a card game based on League of Legends, we have seen many skins from that game come to LoR. Some of these skins are Spirit Blossom and Archlight.

However, Riot also adds exclusive skin lines like Corrupted to the game. Additionally, Corrupted also received a new iteration during the World Ender expansion. Riot are committed to updating older skins alongside new original high-quality skins. Recently, Riot updated Sand Wraith Pyke and Sandstorm Ekko by giving them unique level-up animations. Though it increased the price of these two skins, the previous owners who already paid for them could keep them without paying extra.

Last year, Riot released the first expansion of the Darkin Saga, Awakening. In that expansion, they added many new mechanics and champions. One of the surprise addition is the LoR exclusive champion Norra.

Norra was the first exclusive champion added to Legends of Runeterra. She is a Yordle champion, hailing from Bandle City. Moreover, she was already deeply connected with the League of Legends lore thanks to Yuumi. In the lore, she is Yuumi’s missing master. Norra is one of the long lists of champions already existing in the lore, but Riot added them to the game later. The first of two lore based champions was Senna and Viego.

Riot earlier this year revealed the roadmap for LoR in 2023. And in that post, Riot mentioned wanting to add more LoR exclusive champions. Players expected that the exclusive champions would come in the first expansion of the year, and Riot Games delivered.

Riot recently revealed the first expansion of the year, Glory in Navori. They also revealed all the champions that would be coming in this expansion. And one of them is the LoR exclusive champion, Jack.

Jack is a 4 cost champion hailing from Bilgewater. His main passive is a regular Strike where he creates a coin in hand. Though he starts with the Brash keyword, once he levels up, he gains Overwhelm. Level 2 Jack creates 2 coins instead of one, and when the player refills mana, for each mana refilled, Jack gains +1 attack.

Earlier this year, Riot revealed the 2023 roadmap showcasing everything coming to Legends of Runeterra. In that, Riot announced a new release cycle.

Riot explained in that post that Riot would release expansions first. Afterward, we will receive live balance patches fixing and adjusting the game. The live balance patches aim to optimize the game for both pro-play and casual scenes. But now, right after live balance patches, Riot will release something called variety card sets. This means Riot can now release new cards regardless of a new expansion. Overall, it is positive for the community as they can try out new content regularly.

And now, recently, Riot has revealed the first expansion of 2023, Glory In Navori. Alongside revealing the name of the expansion, Riot also revealed some of the upcoming champions. And one of the champions is Sett.

Sett will release with his champion spell Facebreaker and Show Stopper; however, he will not have any auto-equip equipment.

Sett will be 5 cost champion, hailing from Ionia. Sett has a unique mechanic where if he drops below one health for the first time, he gets a barrier for that round. And after he levels up, when Sett is on the attack, he can’t take damage or die. This means Sett is unbeatable during the rounds he is on the attacking. But killing him in rounds where he plays as a block or defence is still possible. Sett also creates Showstopper every time the user spends a certain amount of mana.

2023 is looking like an exciting year for Legends of Runeterra. Riot has revealed the 2023 roadmap showcasing everything coming to the game.

The first addition that Riot discussed they would be adding was Rotation. It is a concept in card games where older cards are restricted, whereas only the newer cards can be played. Rotation is one of the most requested features we will see soon in the game.

Additionally, Riot has also confirmed that more LoR-exclusive champions are on their way. Alongside champions, they have also released a new format and structure for competitive PvP. And for PvE players, Riot has assured that more items and champions will make their way to the Path of the Champions. Furthermore, they will make some much-needed adjustments to the existing relics.

And now Riot has finally unveiled the first expansion of the year, Glory of Navori. Moreover, they have also teased three upcoming champions, including one which will be LoR-exclusive.

Glory in Navori: Upcoming Champions

Samira will be a Noxian champion. And Sett will be an Ionian. Though we don’t know how they will play or what their stats are going to be.

One surprise addition, or change in this case, will be Jack The Winner. Riot has confirmed that Jack The Winner will change from a follower to a champion. This is overall massive news, as Riot never changed a champion’s class from a regular unit to a champion. That also means Jack The Winner will be Legend of Runeterra’s second exclusive champion. We still don’t know what his overall stat change will be, but we can expect some huge changes alongside supporting spells as well.

When a community member asked Riot if more than three champions would be releasing this expansion, the Game Designer at Legends of Runeterra, Riot Brian Kopleck, said that we have to “stay tuned all week“. So we could expect more champions to be teased relatively soon.
