How to Sell Items in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet

To sell any unused items that are taking up space, you must first go to the Pokemart, or shall I say, Pocket Mart. Now, there are Two ways you can make a trade. You can either sell items Individually or in Bulk. The process is more or less the same. However, just some extra add-up steps while making a Bulk amount request. Let’s get into it.

Sell Items Individually

  • Interact with the Guy in the Blue Section.
  • He will give you Three choices:
    • I’d like to buy
    • I’d like to sell
    • I’m good, thanks
  • Choose the Sell option
  • Now, you will see all the items you have stashed over time. All you have to do is select the items you need to sell.
  • Now, select the amount.
  • Press the A-button to confirm the deal with the NPC guy
  • The in-game mechanic now will show you the amount of Pokedollar you will be getting for that particular item. Click yes if that sounds good to you.
  • You get your Pokedollar.

Sell Items in Bulk

  • Before selecting the items, press the “+” button on the controller. It will enable to sell off items in Bulk.
  • Now, select all the items you need to clear out at once.
  • Seal the deal, as mentioned before.

And that is how you sell items both individually and in Bulk amount in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet. Prosst!

Apricorn Balls are different colored balls made from Apricorn. You can farm these in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet. Here is how to do it.

Pokemon Scarlet and Violet introduce a new region called Paldea. With the new region, we also have the 9th generation of Pokemon. And on top of that, this is the first actual open-world Pokemon game in the franchise. So, it is safe to say there are many changes this title brings to the players.

Even though there are a lot of changes, there are some older mechanics and features that have been implemented in the game too. Some of these features come directly from other games, while some get changed to fit with the newer title. Apricorn balls are on that has been changed from how they used to work.

Since the apricron balls have been changed, this game has new things to learn. Here in this article, we will cover everything you need to know about farming Apricorn balls in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet.

Read More: Pokémon Scarlet and Violet: Post-Game Unlockables

How to Farm Apricorn Balls in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet

Apricorn balls are essentially different colored balls that you can get in the game. Each of these balls has different effects to them. But they are mainly used to match the color of the ball with the color of the Pokemon. Introduced back in gen 2, you could have picked apricorn from the ground and given them to an NPC to craft these balls.

However, in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, there is no apricorn in the game. So the game takes a different approach to getting apricorn balls. You can get these balls through the Porto Marinada auctions this time. Each in-game day the items of the auction change, and there is a chance for different kinds of apricorn balls to appear.

So if you want to farm apricorn balls in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, you will have to have the money to buy them from the auction. Once you have enough money, check the auction for your desired ball. If the auction has them, you can buy them. If the auction doesn’t have the ball, you will have to mess with the clock of your Nintendo Switch.

How to reset Auction House Items

You must change the time from the switch’s clock settings to reset the auction items. First, save your game, then turn off the game. Now go to the clock and turn off sync via the internet. Next, fast forward the time by 2 hours, then log back into the game. Repeat this process until you find your desired ball in the auction house.

Lucario is one of the oldest and most popular Pokemon that are in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet. He is also good to use in different raids. Here is how you should build him for raids.

Pokemon games are usually filled with post-game things to do. Pokemon Scarlet and Violet are no different either. There are a lot of things you can do. One of the post-game things is the raids. There are several levels of raids you will find in the game. The star on the raids indicates the difficulty of it.

As you play through the game and clear raids, more powerful raids will spawn. Eventually, you will be facing the 7-star raids. But for 7-star raids to spawn, you must complete the game first. One of the most challenging raids in the game is the 7-star Greninja raid.

Lucario is an excellent unit to build for different raids, including the 7-Star Greninja. So here is how you can build Lucario for raids in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet.

Read More: Best Gastrodon build for 7-Star Greninja Tera Raids

Best Lucario Build for Tera Raids

Lucario has a pretty good base attack. But he is mainly used as a special attacker. Lucario is rare to find in the wild. But you can find the non-evolved version called Riolu. They are commonly found in mountain areas on the map. After you catch one, you need to increase the friendship with it to evolve it into Lucario.

Lucario Moves/Abilities to Use

There are a lot of moves this Pokemon can learn. However, for the tera raid, there are certain moves you will need. Since each Pokemon can have four different moves that they can learn at the same time, here are the moves you need to use:

  • Swords Dance
  • Life Dew
  • Screech
  • Zen Headbutt

Swords Dance is used to increase the power of your attack. It can increase the power quite a lot and stack it three times. Using this ability for the first three turns is recommended to get the maximum damage out of your damage ability.

Life Dew is used to heal after taking damage. This is useful when your HP drops low during a raid. You can use this ability to also heal your teammate if they need it. So this is a handy ability to have.

Screech is another support ability to increase the damage of Lucario. This ability lowers your opponent’s damage. So you can cast it after buffing up with Swords Dance. Or if you don’t want to wait for more turns, then you can use this ability later at any point of the raid.

Zen Headbutt is finally our damage ability for Lucario. After buffing up and lowering your opponent’s defense, you will deal massive damage using this ability. This will help you get through the raid pretty quickly.

Other Preparation You Should Do

You should give your Lucario the Wise Glasses item before getting into the raid. This will increase all the special attacks by 10%. Thus you will do more damage during the raids. You can get Wise Glasses from Delibird Shop for 8000 Pokedollars.

You can also set the nature to Modest. This will lower the attack but increase the Sp. Attack. Since we will be using an sp. attack, this is a good damage increase.

Slowking is one of the Pokemon that are good to use in raids. But they require a special build to be effective in the raids. Here is how you can build it.

Pokemon games are usually filled with post-game things to do. Pokemon Scarlet and Violet are no different either. There are a lot of things you can do. One of the post-game things is the raids. There are several levels of raids you will find in the game. The star on the raids indicates the difficulty of it.

Slowking is a good choice for raids unless the Pokemon directly counter it. Especially for post-game raids, it is important to build Pokemon according to the raids you are facing. That being said, here is how you can build slowing in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet.

Read More: Best Gastrodon build for 7-Star Greninja Tera Raids

Best Slowking Builds for Tera Raids

Slowking is the 2nd evolution in the chain. The un-evolved version of this Pokemon is called Slowpoke. You can catch Slowpoke on the top left side of the map. They are commonly available in the beach and lake areas of the map in this region. If you trade while holding a King’s Rock, it will evolve into Slowking.

Slowking Moves/Abilities to Use

There are a lot of moves this Pokemon can learn. However, for the tera raid, there are certain moves you will need. Since each Pokemon can have four different moves that they can learn at the same time, here are the moves you need to use:

  • Oblivious/ Own Tempo
  • Slack Off
  • Chilling Water
  • Psyshock

Oblivious and Own Tempo are both exclusive abilities for Slowking. Oblivious makes him immune to infatuation, intimidation, or taunting. While Own Tempo makes him immune to confusion. Choose which one is the best for your raid and use it accordingly.

Slack Off is the healing ability of our kit. If your HP gets too low, you can use this to heal up. However, this one cannot be used to help your other teammates in the raid.

Chilling Water is a supportive ability that lowers the attack of your opponent. This is a great ability for support. Since you will be raiding, if you see a teammate getting too low, you can use this ability to lower the damage your opponent is doing.

Psychock is finally the damage ability in our arsenal. Slowking is mainly a defensive unit. So it will be tanking while doing some damage. Use this ability when you have a window to damage the opposing Pokemon.

Other Preparation You Should Do

The best item you can give Slowking is the Leftover. This will heal him by some amount every turn. You can buy this item from the Delibird shop for 20,000 Pokedollars. Also, make sure to set the nature of your Slowking to Rexaled. This will increase its defense at the cost of attack.

Here is all you need to know about the best build for Ting-Lu for Tera Raids in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet.

Join the new Tera Raids with your Terastal Pokemon. All you have to do is, Terastallized your ferocious but cute, pocket monsters to be in this raid.

Ting-Lu is one of the legendary Pokemon that was introduced in the Gen-IX Pokemon world. This legend is one of the members of the Treasures of Ruin. This Dark/ Ground type legend has quite a massive health bar compared to others.

Moreoever, this guy also bulks up in its defense stats. Now, this legendary types are not to be used whenever and wherever in the Tera Raids. The builds below are for special Raids that seems like a challenge. If you play multiplayer, I would suggest to have some variety in the team.

Best Grimmsnarl Build for Tera Raids

We will be discussing the builds that are focused on countering Special Attacks. However, this Legendary Pokemon has a “thing” against Water, Ice, and Grass-type Pokemon. Keeping that aside, Ting-Lu will give out its best potential if you can sequence its moves precisely.

Now, let’s get into these builds.

Tank Build

Tank Build is to face foes that use Special Attack to live their day to day. Bulking up Ting-Lu will give it an immense boost to face any of the Pokemon.

  • Tera Type: Dark
  • Nature: Adamant (More Attack, Less Special Attack)
  • EV Spread:
    HP = 252
    Attack = 252
    Special Defense= 4
  • Ability
Vessel of Ruin = Lowers the Special Attack stat of all Pokemon in the field by 25%.
  • Held Item
Leftovers = Restores Ting-Lu’s 6.25% of its max HP at the end of every turn.
  • Moveset
Throat Chop = Ting-Lu stops the opponent from using Sound-based moves for two turns.
Bulk Up = Increases both the Attack and Defense stat of Ting-Lu by one stage.
Taunt = The foe can only use moves that do damage for three turns.
Body Press = Uses Ting-Lu’s Defense stat to calculate offensive damage instead of the Attack stat.

Physical Attack Build

This build not only increases the physical attack of Ting-Lu but also decreases the Special Attack of the foe Pokemon. Unlike the Tank Build, we will be using the Grond Tera Ting-Lu. It will give that extra boost in the offensive and defensive capabilities.

  • Tera Type: Ground
  • Nature: Adamant (More Attack, Less Special Attack)
  • EV Spread:
    HP = 252
    Attack = 252
    Special Attack= 6
Earthquake = Hits all Pokemon on the field. Damage is doubled on Pokemon that are using Dig.
Stone Edge = This attack has a 1-stage increased Critical Hit ratio.
Heavy Slam = The attack’s power is based on the target’s weight. The lighter the target, the greater the power.

And this is all I had for the best Tera build for Ting-Lu in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet. Until next time!
