This is the beginner World Tier, where every player sets their foot in the game. Enemies of this World Tier are easier to defeat. This tier also gives out the general amount of XPs when enemies are defeated, or a task is completed. There is also no additional content available for this World Tier as this one is the beginner and common one for all.

World Tier 2: Veteran

World Tier 2 features the same content as Diablo 4 as World Tier 1. There is no additional content available for this World Tier. However, the enemies that you go against in this tier will be a bit tougher than the previous one. Again, this tower will offer the players 20% XP and 15% more Gold.

World Tier 3 needs to be unlocked by completing the whole Diablo 4 main storyline in World Tier 2. This is the first specialized difficulty World Tier that you will get to experience. Additionally, you will earn 100% XP and 15% more Gold from killing monsters in this World Tier.
A lot of new content will also appear in this World Tier.

World Tier 4: Torment

World Tier 4 is the hardest difficulty level of Diablo 4. This tier needs to be unlocked by completing the capstone dungeon of World Tier 3. Additional content will be unlocked alongside this new World Tier. Enemies of this World Tier are the hardest to go against in the entire game.

Players must upgrade their character level before changing to this World Tier. Monsters of this World Tier will overcome 40% Resistance on your attacks. Additionally, you will earn 200% XP and 15% more Gold from killing monsters in this World Tier.

Diablo 4 features a new campaign and a new world for the player to explore. This time the game features an open world. So there are many more things for the players to do in the game. Diablo 4 has quite a lot of currency types. Each of these currencies has its own vendor that uses it. Here are all the merchants/ vendors in Diablo 4.

Diablo 4 introduces an open-world map to the game. Before this, all Diablo games were level based. So to accommodate the open world, there are a lot of activities that are added to the game. Many of the activities and events drop rare or activity-exclusive currency in the game. This currency can then be taken to its respective merchant to get items.

So naturally, there are different kinds of merchants in the game. Most of the big cities have at least one of each type of merchant. So, no matter where you are, you are never too far from a vendor that you need.
