Cathedral of Omens Puzzles are one of the hardest puzzles in Remnant 2. Here is how to solve them.

Remnant 2 is one of the better souls-like games released in recent years. It is not traditional souls-like as it doesn’t have the focus on the melee weapon. Rather, Remnant 2 incorporates the souls-like formula in a third-person shooter game. Remnant From Ashes was the first game to have that, and with Remnant 2, they have expanded on that idea.

Remnant 2 has a lot for the players to do. There are a lot of secrets, and because of the random nature of the game, it will take more than one playthrough for the players to experience everything the game has to offer.

Even though the first Remnant game had some basic puzzles, this time around, there are quite a few challenging puzzles the game throws at the player. One of them is the Cathedral of Omens puzzles. This is considered one of the trickiest puzzles in the game. But fear not; we will show you how you can solve these puzzles in this article.

Cathedral of Omens Puzzles

The Cathedral of Omens is a random location that can be found while moving through the Yaesha area of the game. In this cathedral, you will find three doors. Two of them will be locked, and the Third one will contain the clue for opening the others. There are actually three different puzzles that can be solved.

In the Cathedral’s center, there is a big sundial with three levers controlling the symbols, the circles, and the triangle. In the open room, you will find a book that will let you know the meaning of each symbol. This book also contains three stories, which contain clues for solving the puzzle.

First Puzzle: The Calamity

The Calamity is the first story you will find in the book. It revolves around the ravager, the doe, and death. So we will be using these three symbols to unlock the door. The Calamity unlocks the door right across the room from the entrance.

First, you will need to match the triangle that is on top of the door. Match the triangle using the lever just like you see when looking at the door. There is no need to rotate or mirror it because of perspective.

Now you need to get the ravaged symbol right before the door. Then the Doe should automatically be in the opposite position from the ravager. And finally, in the middle of the two, we have death.

As for the final lever, we need to move all the circles so that the circles are on Ravager, Death, and Doe, as per the story. That will unlock this Calamity door. This picture shows the position of everything after you have completed the puzzle and opened the door.

Second Puzzle: The Blood Moon

Now that we understand the basic mechanics of the puzzle from the 2nd story, it is easy to say we need to put the circles around the Sun, Moon, and Ravager. But before we do that, we need to align the symbols and the triangle.

Like the first one, you need to rotate the triangle to match the symbol above the door. After that, you can change the symbols.

credit: capcom

The sun and moon are the main focus of the Second story in the book. So these two will be on the two corners of the triangle. Thus, the ravager will go on the flat side of the triangle. After aligning the symbols, you can put the circles around them. After solving the puzzle, it should look like this.

Third Puzzle: The Hope

The last story is more complicated than the previous ones. But you should still be able to solve it without much problem. The first thing is, again, the triangle. This time, it is located directly above the entrance since this puzzle doesn’t unlock any door.

credit: capcom

The 3rd story deals with Sun, Ravager, Doe, and Life. So we will have to place them all accordingly. Since the Ravager and Doe are opposite to each other, place them on the two corners of the triangle. Then, the Life and Sun would be on the flat side of the triangle. The final version would look something like this.

After completing this puzzle, a weapon will pop up from the ground in the middle of the room. Claim your reward. That is all three omen puzzles of Remnant 2.

Learn about the best of the Archetypes in Remnant 2.

Remnant 2 comes with an experience blended with a compelling narrative, gripping character progression, and adrenaline-pumping combat into a haunting journey.  This adventure in the post-apocalyptic realm is even bigger and more threatful than its prequel that came out 4 years ago. Here, chaos reigns supreme as you explore the intricacies of character development.

As a third-person shooter, Remnant 2 offers an intense combat experience as you will travel through multiverses from time to time. It will furthermore push your skills to the limit as you engage in various randomized fights against several hybrids and more randomized creatures. It’s more like a mixture of everything to give us the whole taste.

As you travel through multiverses, you will need to choose the best class to carry your traits. The good news, these classes are more threatening than ever with new and unique playstyles, skills, and perks. You need to combine these to increase your survivability in this post-apocalyptic realm. And to help you with that, I am here today to let you assist on what class I think you should go for in Remnant 2. Hop in without further ado.

All Archetypes Tier List in Remnant 2

TierCharacter
S-Tier (Best)Handler, Medic, Hunter
A-Tier (Good)Gunslinger, Engineer, Alchemist
B-Tier (Average)Summoner, Challenger
C-Tier (Okay)Explorer

S-Tier

Handler

Credit: Fextralife

The Handler class in Remnant 2 features a good boi companion. This good boi will provide invaluable support to you and your team. With your good boi, you can excel in various tasks, including dealing damage, assisting mates, and distracting enemies. By giving simple commands, this good boi is ready at your service.

Apart from taunting your enemies, your good boi can even create chances for a long-range attack. Moreover, it can regenerate HP for both you and your mates. The Pack Hunter and Spirit of the Wolf perks give this class an extra boost, improving the damage and movement speed.

Medic

Credit: Fextralife

A Medic emphasizes teamwork, rapid healing, and access to a top-tier arsenal. Which, in turn, makes it a must-choice for players that want to aid their mates. However, this class can excel in both solo and cooperative gameplay.

Medic has a diverse skill set, from healing ability to broad AoE revival. Furthermore, it enhances the capabilities that, in turn, boost its damage output. On top of that, this also enhances the healing effectiveness. And talking about offensive traits, you will get a machine gun with bullets enough to fight other Archetypes to be in the S rank.

Hunter

Credit: Fextralife

With Hunter’s expertise in long-range combat, critical strikes, and targeting weak spots, if you want to focus on precision and team-based tactics, you will find this Archetypes the most formidable one.

In Remnant 2, this class is specially designed for you if you have a creed and are an assassin. That’s right, stealth, precise shots, and strategic foresight, are all you can get from a Hunter, just preparing for its prey. From gaining visibility to nearby enemies to boosting damage and critical hit chances, Hunter is equipped with precisive insights. You will also have the option to choose between Hunter’s Focus for deadlier precision shots or Shroud for stealthy maneuvers.

Last but not least, Hunter’s less high durability than the other S-ranks compensates with their teamwork skills, such as marking opponents. It can increase critical strike opportunities.

A-Tier

Gunslinger

Credit: Fextralife

The Gunslinger is a Western firearms expert. He wholeheartedly excels in dealing damage, ammo efficiency, and rapid firing. As we have seen Hunter, prioritizing precision and planning, the Gunslinger approaches more aggressively, typically with opening fire. His arsenal of perks enhances their firearms, fire rate, ammo reserves, and reloading capabilities.

With quick drawing, Gunslinger can guarantee up to six critical hits. However, you can also trigger a single powerful shot instead of those six hits. And with the ability to transform ranged weapons into killing machines with temporary infinite ammo, Gunslinger showdowns with pure monstrosity. Furthermore, this also comes up with auto-reload. However, as it offers no survivability and healing, Gunslinger slips into the A-rank.

Engineer

Credit: Legacy Gaming (Yt)

The Engineer class is more like a hidden class in Remnant 2. You need to go through multiple obstacles just to get the necessary items to activate this class. Later on, you will truly appreciate the kind of monster you have just awakened.

Engineer is armed with a turret that continuously fires till the end of ammo and provides cover support. Moreover, the flaming grenades can wreak havoc with their fiery explosions. On top of that, the rail gun they carry boasts penetration, capable of piercing through any obstacle in its path. And with the overclocking ability,  Engineer unleashes relentless ammo of bullets. Furthermore, their damage resistance and defensive traits make them primal in all Archetypes.

Alchemist

Credit: Fextralife

Alchemist stands out as the top in providing support, focusing on enhancing buffs, elevating the overall stats, and, moreover, extending the duration of the consumables. Its primary purpose revolves around providing aid to both itself and its mates. This archetype acts on faster revivals with improved personal protection.

From boosting fire rates to summoning vapor to revive teammates, an Alchemist also focuses on regenerating HP and granting temporary invulnerability for 20 seconds. With an Alchemist in your team, the team can take bold risks without immediate consequences.

B-Tier

Summoner

Credit: Fextralife

The Summoner relies on damage-dealing minions that provide support in both solo and co-op fights. These summoned minions can distract enemies, offer to heal, and afterward, fearlessly sacrifice themselves.

However, summoning creatures can seriously deplete Summoner’s HP, though it cannot result in death. Moreover, it consumes a Relic charge that prevents checkpoint usage for healing. This can be a serious drawback that pulls our Summoner to B-Rank.

Challenger

Credit: Fextralife

Challenger is more like an encouragement. You can encourage your mates to engage in close combat using skills that provide damage bonuses for both ranged and melee attacks. However, this playstyle can be quite risky when soloing, in boss fights, or in higher difficulties.

And for that, to maximize success, you have to carefully build a strategy and preferable loadout that suits the specific needs. With that saying, Summoner is better to be on the field with Medic, Handler, or Alchemist.

C-Tier

Explorer

Credit: Fextralife

The Explorer heavily relies on loot acquisition, discovering items, and more materials. It excels in looting items and farming activities. That, in turn,  makes it a not-so-valuable class for those focused on farming resources.

Even though this class serves as a utility buffer that provides increased movement speed, enhanced ammo drops, and improved item quality, Explorer lacks significant offensive or defensive capabilities. So to say, it may be more suitable as a secondary archetype for players that are focusing on finding items.

Learn the solution to solve the safe combination at the Great Sewer in Remnant 2.

Remnant 2 has numerous secrets lying beneath. And if it comes to the secrets that include loot, some are quite challenging. Amidst that, there are these safes with randomized locks. Means no matter how many times you play, it will get reset every time. And to make while worthwhile, these loots contain some shiny items like armor and gears. Lucky enough, a weapon mod might even make it to your stash.

And in the realm of Remnat 2, we have come across The Great Sewer with one such safe. Let’s not cut the rest and let the cat out of the bag so soon. However, unearthing this secrete is quite a tough nut to crack. All you need to know is that you do not have to sweat as you are already here to find the solution to get a glimpse behind the curtain. Without further ado, let’s right jump into it.

The Greate Sewer Safe in Remnant 2

Location of the Safe

Head to the Great Sewers at first. From there, take the main path that has gone through the sewer. It will lead you to a small hole. As the opening is hidden, you need to demolish it in order to get inside. Now, crawl until you reach in a small room. The safe should be just in the middle of the room.

How To Unlock

As you are already in the room now, you will have to find some specific digits that will match the four numerals on the safe. It should make up the code as well. However, note that these digits are randomized for the safe as players are reporting different digits most of the time. As for me, I had to put 8153.

Now, for you to open, you need to find the glowing numbers around you. You need to lighten up to let the numbers glow. Next, observe the code on the safe. You need to match the four numerals with the numbers you see glowing around you. Now, roam around the room a bit and check for the digits that glow upon striking with light. However, be careful and hold the light still as even subtle movement might be problematic to visualize the numbers.

Get all the numbers and put them in the combination. Upon unlocking, you will find the Rusted Heirloom Ring. It will grant two stacks of Bulwark below 50% of your max HP.

Learn about the best rings to equip before ruling out in the cursed realm of Remnant 2.

The world of Remnant 2 will test you till your last breath; doesn’t matter if you breathe oxygen or poisonous gas. Moreover, to roam around these lands, you need to befit yourself with the best gear out there. And to get the gears, you need the best suggestions out there.

Now you are almost halfway there in Remnant 2, you sure know how important Rings are. No, not only for aesthetic reasons but for your own protection as well. And that protection comes with max 4 rings at a time. However, amidst countless rings out there, you need to be aware of only the top 7 best ones. Without further ado, let’s right jump into it.

Top 7 Best Rings to Equip in Remnant 2

As already mentioned, Rings in Remnant 4 are for both protection and aesthetics. Apart from wearing Four Rings on your finger, you should also know the best ones to wear. Let’s see what we have gathered below for you today.

7. Stone Of Malevolence

Stone Of Malevolence Ring in Remnant 2

From the Elemental Status source as Burn, Shock, or Poison, Stone Of Malevolence can create 15% additional Mod Power. However, just only modding power might not sound useful to you, but it is pretty special; especially, for the modding community over the edge. Not only it needs low damage input, but it will give you the highest DPS output. Moreover, when the elemental buff is active, you will get the mod energy at most 3 times. So yes, if your build is based on Elements, this is the best ring to wear, cap.

6. Tear Of Kaeula

Tear of Kaeula Ring in Remnant 2

Now, if you are a relic fanatic, you will definitely need this one. Say, you are fighting off against a formidable boss, and you have stored up all your relic charges up until now. There is a huge chance that you will get run out of it in the middle of the night. So to keep cool and safe aside, put on Tear Of Kaeula and it will give you an extra Two slots for relics. Now, you have that extra relic to use the buff. However, not all relic is worth using, and not all relics are usable; crazy world of Remnant.

5. Deep Pocket

Deep Pocket Ring in Remnant 2

To have a lifesaver by your side, Deep Pocket Ring should never be set aside. This special ring can increase your max ammo capacity by 25%. Quite useful for the weapons that eat out lots of ammo either for no apparent reason or the reason stands out by high damage output at the same time. However, as it doesn’t offer any other output, this might not seem handy at first, but at the end-game phase, Deep Pocket Ring will remind you to look deep into your pocket to search for that one extra bullet to fire.

4. Black Cat Band

Black Cat Band Ring in Remnant 2

Black Cat Band Ring gives off a sudden burst in movement speed for 10 seconds as soon as you are in imminent threat and sustained fatal damage. Moreover, the ring even gives off a shield to protect you from the secondary attack that comes just right after the first one. Even though the hp is lost by 1 unit, the absorption is godly. Moreover, after just a minute of cooldown, you are ready to breathe again in the arena.

3. Anastasija’s Inspiration

Anastasija's Inspiration Ring in Remnant 2

From gaining haste for 10 seconds to powering up the wearer with some extra agility, Anastasija’s Inspiration can be quite under the radar for you if you are new to the game. However, you can make this effect permanent, which means from your firing rate to movement, every speed will be permanently buffed.

To make this indefinite trait effective, head to Ward 13 and search for a vendor that goes by the name, Mudtooth. Buy Root Water from him that will regenerate your health for 60 mins at a constant rate. And after consumption, this should be enough to trigger the effect.

However, you can also get a health regeneration trait after you have maxed out your fav Archetype. Put one point into that trait, and you will be good to go.

2. Probability Cord

Probability Cord Ring in Remnant 2

How does it sound to enhance the critical damage by 30%? And to top that with a buff in overall damage, Probability Cord should be a priority ring for any occasion. And if you are bagging a weapon with consistent crit hits, the damage output will increase by severalfold. And the biggest outcome is that you can equip this ring with almost all build and is my personal favorite one till now.

1. Blood Jewel

Blood Jewel Ring in Remnant 2

Let’s come to something totally melee-focused. And talking about focusing on melee, the best one you can put on is the Blood Jewel Ring. After a successful hit, your enemies will start bleeding. This bleeding effect will be in effect for 20 seconds. And these 20 seconds will cause your enemies a continuous 300+ damage. This bleeding state can even scale with your weapon damage. Means, the more you hit, the more they bleed. Moreover, the bleeding effect can even stack up to deal additional damage over time.

Learn about all the Relics and where to find them in Remnant 2.

Learn about the top 5 best relics to get in Remnant 2.

From Remnant: From the Ashes to Remnant 2, we traveled across several universes, and numerous realms, and faced battle against a great number of unnamed monsters. However, there were a number of safety measures that had to be done before sprinting on the midfield and smelling deadly gas in order to survive in these terrible regions. Relics are another kind of thing that comes in pretty useful yet isn’t frequently utilized, as if wearing rings weren’t enough.

Relics are more like consumable things that have several functions. Some of the relics have very underappreciated benefits ranging from healing to modifying the playing style. And there are various relics spread across Remnant 2’s land. In this guide, we will explore the very best of the best 5 relics you can use in Remnant 2. Hop in!

Top 5 Best Rings to Equip in Remnant 2

The Relics below have a variety of effects, from healing to modifying the playing style. This guide will explore the five best relics in the game, based on their usefulness and effectiveness.

Unsullied Heart

Unsullied Heart Relic in Remnant 2
Unsullied Heart relic

On use, heals for 100% of Current Health over 0.5s. The description for Unsullied Heart says it heals 100% of your current HP over 0.5 seconds. Now this might sound confusing, but it can come in handy in the worst possible time. Say, you are running on 10% of your total hp, and you think it would be the best time to trigger the relic. However, 100% of 10 units of your hp is 10, so you are getting a total of 20 hp after all. But say you are above 40-50% in the current state. In this kind of situation, an Unsullied Heart can be a drop of water in the desert.

Shielded Heart

Shielded Heart Relic in Remnant 2
Shielded Heart relic

Think of this as an armor with the same max hp that you currently have. On top of that, a shield on your heart will shield you only for 20 seconds max until it runs out of its hp juice. It works the best if you want to escape from the scene or are surrounded by hordes of enemies. An extra life shield lying on your back always comes in handy.

Reprocessed Heart

If you are building on mod, then the Reprocessed Heart can farm some more mod power for you. However, it comes at a cost, and unless you have a grip on this crazy gameplay, you should not go for Reprocessed Heart. What it will do is, it will convert 5 hp to 40 Mod Power per second. And it will last for 25 seconds for both of your weapons. On top of that, you cannot die from conversion. As I am into mod build quite lately, been using it up and draining my hp apparently just for some Mod Power.

Runed Heart

Now here’s another Relic I would want to bag in all the time. The Runed Heart increases your health regeneration by 5. On top of that, it will add an extra 500 Mod Power, which at most, will last for over 10 seconds. Additionally, the relic grants an extra non-specific health regeneration bonus.

Void Heart

Void Heart Relic in Remnant 2
Void Heart Relic

One of the most mysterious ones yet in the field. The Void Heart is even quite hard to get your hands on. And after slaying Sha’Hala, the Spectral Guardian, you will be able to travel into the abyss known as Alepsis-Taura. Moreover, what you get from achieving this Void Heart is, the incoming damages will be reduced to 50% for at most 4 seconds. And after these 4 seconds, you will get return the health that you have lost during the damage for over 0.75 seconds. Not going to unstash, cap.

Keep reading to learn about all the Amulets you can find in Remnant 2.

Remnant 2 is finally here. After Remnant: From the Ashes’ massive success, it’s no surprise that we got a whole new sequel. The new third-person survival action RPG lets you team up with your friends and fight for your life in a post-apocalyptic world plagued by monsters and mythical beasts.

Whether you’re a melee combatant or a ranged fighter, you’ll have to rely on everything you got to overcome tough boss fights and ensure your and your team’s survivability. And one of the best ways to ensure victory against these creatures is by enhancing your weapon’s inherent capabilities.

This is where Amulets come in. Equipping an Amulet will give you various stat boosts for yourself and your weapons. Aside from stat boosts and enhanced damage output, some amulets can even drastically reduce your weapon reloading time. Furthermore, the amulets in Remnant 2 can even increase your max HP threshold.

Chances are you’ll find these amulets scattered around the different worlds during your adventure. However, some can only be found as random drops for defeating different monsters and World Bosses.

Having said that, you can also purchase amulets from various merchants or have them crafted at the Drzyr Replicator. If you want to track down all the amulets in Remnant 2, then we’ve got you covered.

If you’re struggling to find the code for the Chest in Remnant 2 and don’t know how to open it, then don’t worry! We’ve got you covered.

Remnant 2 is one of the most-awaited titles of 2023. The game has sold more than 1 million copies in less than a week and more people are still getting into the game with time.

The title is a sequel to the popular Remnant: From the Ashes game. To keep it familiar, most of the in-game mechanisms have been carried over from that game to the latest one.

However, new locations, enemies, missions, and bosses have been added so players can experience the new fun of Remnant 2. So, despite some crashes and optimization issues, players have been enjoying the game to the fullest since the beginning.

Similar to the Prequel, the journey starts after playing a Prologue, where you are sent to Ward 13. In Ward 13, you can buy weapons, armor, and consumables.

However, to buy weapons and consumables, you need a lot of scraps, which you won’t get at the beginning of the game. But you can unlock a powerful MP60-R SMG, by opening the Cargo Container Room located at the very edge of Ward 13.

To open the Chest, you need a key code. You may not know it, but you already have what it takes to open Foot Locker or Chest in Ward 13. Here’s how to do it.

Remnant 2 has a lot more choices for the players in terms of weapons. Many aspects of the game get expanded in this sequel. From character class to weapons and even mods, there is nothing that doesn’t see an expansion in this game.

With the new expanded loot pool, devs have added a lot more weapon mods to the game. Remnant From Ashes had some good weapon mods for the players to use. This time around, there are a lot more of them. And even more viable and powerful mods have been added to the game. So here is a list of all the weapons you can find in Remnant 2.
